Summary

This study tested a device called the SPIRION Laryngeal Pacemaker in 10 people with bilateral vocal cord paralysis who had already had surgery on one vocal cord. The main goals were to see if the device is safe and if it improves breathing. Participants were implanted with the pacemaker and followed for two years.
