Gel barrier battle: can new product beat standard at preventing painful spine scars?

Summary
This study is testing whether a new gel barrier called MegaShield-SP® works as well as an existing product (Guardix-SP Plus) at preventing painful scar tissue from forming after back surgery. It involves 80 adults who have had a specific type of spine operation. Researchers will use MRI scans and pain questionnaires to see which gel is better at reducing scarring and improving recovery.
