Summary

This study tested two different drug combinations for pain relief after lumbar spine surgery. Researchers compared how well each combination worked to reduce pain and limit the need for additional opioid painkillers. The study involved 100 patients who received epidural injections containing either fentanyl or midazolam along with standard medications.
