Stitch in time? new back surgery technique aims to stop pain from coming back
NCT ID NCT07250581
Summary
This study is testing if adding a special stitch to repair a spinal disc during a common back surgery is better than the surgery alone. It will involve 300 people with a slipped disc in their lower back who haven't gotten better with other treatments. The main goal is to see if this repair stitch lowers the chance of the disc problem happening again after surgery.
