Can a computer predict your posture after back surgery?

NCT ID NCT04422288

Summary

This study tested a new computer modeling tool designed to predict how a patient's posture will look after spinal fusion surgery. Researchers used the tool on 200 adults who had already undergone the procedure to see if its predictions matched their actual post-surgery X-rays. The goal is to improve surgical planning by letting doctors simulate different surgical approaches before operating.
