Zapping away chronic pain: new spinal stimulator trial offers hope

NCT ID NCT06421350

Summary

This study is testing whether a spinal cord stimulator can reduce pain and improve quality of life for people with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Researchers want to see if the device works better when implanted early in the disease versus later. Participants will try a temporary stimulator for a week, and if it helps, they can get a permanent one implanted.
