Zap to the back: can a mild electrical stimulation help kids with cerebral palsy move their arms better?

NCT ID NCT07247812

Summary

This study is testing whether a mild, non-invasive electrical stimulation applied to the spine, combined with specific hand and arm exercises, can improve movement in the affected arm of children and young adults with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. Researchers will work with 18 participants aged 12-21 to see if this combination is safe, feasible, and more effective than exercises alone. The goal is to find new ways to ease movement difficulties and improve independence for daily tasks.
