Back pain breakthrough? patients test two implants before choosing
NCT ID NCT07091123
Summary
This study compares two implanted pain relief devices for people with chronic back pain after spine surgery. Participants first try temporary versions of both a spinal cord stimulator and a pain medication pump. They then choose which one worked better for them and can proceed with a permanent implant of their preferred device. The goal is to understand which treatment patients prefer and how well each controls long-term pain.
