Spinal shot for surgery pain: does it speed recovery?

Summary
This study is comparing two pain management plans for patients having minimally invasive lung surgery. One group gets a standard nerve block plus a sedative, while the other gets those plus a small dose of morphine injected into the spine. The goal is to see if the spinal morphine leads to better pain control, less need for other painkillers, and a smoother recovery in the first day after surgery.
