New bone graft tested to fuse spine and ease chronic back pain

NCT ID NCT03118505

Summary

This study is testing a bone graft device used during spinal fusion surgery. It aims to help bones in the lower back grow together more successfully to stabilize the spine and reduce pain. The study will enroll 100 adults with multi-level degenerative back conditions who haven't improved with other treatments. Researchers will track how well the spine fuses and whether pain and function improve over two years.
