First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested a computer model that predicts the most comfortable posture a person will have after spinal fusion surgery. Researchers enrolled 200 adults who had already undergone thoracolumbar spinal fusion. The goal was to see if the model's predictions matched the patients' actual posture at follow-up, which could help surgeons plan better and reduce complications.
