New spinal implant aims to improve back surgery outcomes

Summary
This study tests a new medical device for spinal fusion surgery in people with disc degeneration or spinal deformity. About 140 participants will receive either the new device or a standard bone graft. The main goal is to see if the new device helps bones fuse better and safely over 12 months.
