Summary
This study looked at 159 adults having day-case anal surgery to see if adding fentanyl or dexmedetomidine to a standard spinal anesthetic (prilocaine) affects how quickly they recover feeling and movement. The goal was to find which combination allows patients to go home sooner. Key measures included when sensation returned and whether patients could urinate on their own.
