New MRI technique could make spinal tumor surgery safer

Summary
This study tests whether a special MRI technique called magnetic resonance elastography (MRE) can measure how stiff and sticky a spinal cord tumor is before surgery. Knowing this could help surgeons plan the best way to remove the tumor. The study will include 20 people who are already scheduled for spinal cord tumor surgery.
