First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests a non-invasive treatment that uses mild electrical stimulation on the skin over the spine, combined with step training, to help people with incomplete spinal cord injury. The goal is to improve walking, posture, and bladder, bowel, and sexual function. About 36 participants will receive the stimulation alone or with treadmill training to see if it helps reconnect the spinal cord and restore function.
