Migraine pill could help spinal cord injury recovery

NCT ID NCT06677229

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing whether a drug already used for migraines (Eletriptan, called TZ-161 in this study) can help people recover from a recent, traumatic spinal cord injury. The goal is to see if the drug is safe and well-tolerated in this new situation and to gather early signs of whether it might improve movement. The study will enroll about 28 adults with a specific type of injury in the upper to middle back, who can receive the first dose within 24 hours of their injury.
