NCT ID NCT07631091

First seen Jun 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026

Summary

This study compares two numbing medicines (ropivacaine and bupivacaine) given as a single spinal injection for hip replacement surgery. The goal is to see which one allows patients to regain feeling and movement in their legs sooner while still controlling pain well enough to go home the same day. About 176 adults aged 18-80 who are scheduled for a first hip replacement and are candidates for same-day discharge will take part.
