NCT ID NCT06508359
First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at 700 women having planned C-sections to see if giving norepinephrine before spinal anesthesia (to prevent low blood pressure) is better for the baby than giving it only after low blood pressure occurs. The main focus was on the baby's umbilical cord blood pH, a measure of well-being. The results help doctors choose the safest approach for both mother and child.
