New heart device aims to zap away irregular heartbeat

Summary
This study tests a new system that uses heat to create small scars in the heart to block faulty electrical signals causing atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat). About 150 adults with this condition will receive the procedure. The goal is to see if it safely and effectively restores a normal heart rhythm.
