New hope for male fertility? two-drug combo aims to boost sluggish sperm

NCT ID NCT07252518

Summary

This study is testing whether adding the drug pentoxifylline to the supplement coenzyme Q10 works better than coenzyme Q10 alone to improve sperm movement in men with low sperm motility. Researchers will compare the two-drug combination against the supplement alone in 56 men over three months. The goal is to see if the combination helps sperm swim better, which could improve chances of conception.
