Summary
This study is testing a specialized speech therapy for children who have both autism and a motor speech disorder called Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), which makes planning speech movements difficult. Researchers will work with 20 minimally verbal children, using a play-based approach to practice specific words. The goal is to see if this targeted treatment can improve how clearly these children can speak.
