Researchers seek best way to help bilingual kids speak clearly

Summary

This study aims to find the most effective speech therapy methods for Spanish-English bilingual children who have difficulty pronouncing sounds clearly. Researchers will work with 16 children to test whether focusing on simple or complex sounds, and whether therapy in English or Spanish, leads to better improvement in both languages. The goal is to gather knowledge to help speech therapists choose the best treatment targets for bilingual children.
