New hope for communication: tailored speech therapy fights brain disease symptoms
NCT ID NCT06739967
Summary
This study is testing personalized speech and language therapy for people with primary progressive aphasia (PPA), a brain condition that gradually impairs speech and communication. Researchers will work with 30 patients to develop therapy plans tailored to their specific language difficulties and measure if the treatment improves their ability to communicate in daily life. The study will also track patients for six months to see if benefits last and use brain scans to understand how therapy might help the brain.
