Summary
This study tested whether adding high-tech feedback (ultrasound or visual displays) to traditional speech therapy helps children aged 9 to 15 who have trouble saying the /r/ sound. About 108 kids participated, and researchers measured how much their /r/ pronunciation improved. The goal is to find better treatments for speech sound disorders that can affect a child's confidence and social life.
