First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study aims to understand how the brain learns and remembers speech movements. Researchers will test 330 healthy adults by slightly changing the sound of their own voice as they speak, to see how the brain adapts and retains these changes. The goal is to improve models of speech motor learning, which could help develop better therapies for speech disorders.
