Could special ice cream help manage blood sugar?
NCT ID NCT06724913
Summary
This study is testing whether two types of specially formulated ice cream can help control blood sugar and improve digestion for people with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NASH) and type 2 diabetes. One hundred participants will eat portions of the special ice creams and a regular ice cream over three days while their blood sugar is monitored. Researchers will compare how the body responds to the different ice creams to see if the special formulas are better tolerated and more helpful for managing these conditions.
