New combo therapy aims to tame aggressive sarcoma

Summary

This study tests a new treatment plan for adults with advanced soft tissue sarcoma that cannot be removed by surgery or has spread. The treatment combines a special type of radiation with an immunotherapy drug and other supportive medicines. The goal is to see if this combination can shrink tumors and control the disease, while carefully tracking any side effects. About 25 people will take part in this early-phase trial.
