NCT ID NCT05815537
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at how children ages 6 to 18 with normal hearing develop the ability to locate sounds and understand speech in everyday indoor environments that have echoes. Researchers tested children's hearing in virtual rooms with different levels of echo and compared their results to adults. The goal was to map out the typical development of spatial hearing skills, not to test a treatment or cure.
