First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a spacer with a standard inhaler can reduce serious flare-ups in older adults (65+) with COPD or asthma who are at high risk. Participants will use their usual triple therapy with or without a spacer for 3 months. The goal is to see if the spacer helps deliver medication better and lowers the need for hospital visits or steroids.
