Summary

This study tests a drug called sovateltide in 160 adults who had a stroke caused by a blocked blood vessel in the brain. The goal is to see if the drug is safe and helps improve recovery, such as being more independent. Participants receive the drug or a placebo within 24 hours of their stroke and are monitored for side effects and changes in disability.
