Sound waves zap knee pain without needles
NCT ID NCT07178951
Summary
This study is testing whether focused sound waves can safely block pain signals from arthritic knees. The non-invasive procedure uses ultrasound to target nerves through the skin without needles. Researchers are enrolling 10 Canadian adults with chronic knee osteoarthritis pain to see if this approach provides meaningful relief and how long it might last.
