Summary

This small study tested a 40-week music program using bone conduction headphones in 8 children with autism aged 5–10 who were overly sensitive to sound. The goal was to see if the program could reduce their stress responses to noise and improve their daily living skills. Results were measured using standard assessments of adaptive behavior and functional abilities.
