Spray before surgery could ease common Post-Op throat pain
NCT ID NCT07163429
Summary
This study is testing if a common anti-inflammatory throat spray can reduce pain and hoarseness after surgery. It focuses on patients having chest surgery, which uses a larger breathing tube known to cause more throat irritation. Researchers will compare the spray to a placebo to see if it helps patients feel better in the first two days after their operation.
