Summary
This study tested two medications placed in the cuff of a breathing tube to see which better prevents sore throat, hoarseness, and cough after long spine surgery. It involved 100 adults having back surgery while lying face down. The goal was to improve patient comfort and satisfaction after surgery by reducing this common side effect.
