New drug combo targets stubborn leukemia remnants

Summary
This study tests whether combining sorafenib and venetoclax can eliminate tiny amounts of leukemia that remain after initial treatment (called measurable residual disease, or MRD). About 87 adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) will receive this drug pair. The goal is to see if the combo can clear these leftover cells and lower the chance of the cancer coming back.
