Summary

This early-phase study tested a new approach called sonodynamic therapy for people with recurrent high-grade glioma, a fast-growing brain tumor. Participants received a drug called ALA followed by focused ultrasound to activate it. The goal was to check safety and see if the treatment caused biological changes in the tumor. The study was terminated early, and results are limited.
