Sonic device zaps root canal germs, but pain relief unchanged
NCT ID NCT07120126
Summary
This study tested whether a sonic device called EDDY could improve root canal treatment. In 40 patients, the device was better at killing bacteria inside the tooth compared to the standard cleaning method. However, it did not make a difference in how much pain people felt after the procedure.
