First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested whether a solution-oriented training program could reduce fear of childbirth and increase confidence in vaginal birth among first-time pregnant women. 40 women in their third trimester received 6-8 sessions of training, while another 40 received only routine care. Researchers measured changes in traumatic birth perception and self-efficacy using questionnaires. The goal was to see if this simple talking approach could help women feel more prepared and less anxious about giving birth.
