First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This early study tests if a long-acting form of the drug sodium oxybate (Lumryz) can improve voice symptoms in people with spasmodic dysphonia and voice tremor. Researchers will enroll 8 adults who have previously responded to a similar drug. The goal is to see if the drug works and how long the effect lasts, using voice tests and brain scans.
