First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at 128 people with severe tooth decay and nerve damage to see if a stronger or weaker bleach solution works better for cleaning and stopping bleeding during a partial pulpotomy (a procedure that removes only the top part of the infected nerve). Participants received either a 5% or 3% sodium hypochlorite rinse. The goal was to compare success rates, pain, and quality of life after treatment.
