First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding vitamin C to a mix of tooth-derived graft and blood concentrate helps preserve the jawbone's width after a tooth is pulled. About 26 adults needing a single non-molar extraction will receive either the standard graft or the vitamin C-enhanced version. The main goal is to see which approach better maintains bone shape for future dental implants.
