Tooth graft glue shows promise for stronger jaws
NCT ID NCT06027528
First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested a new way to preserve jawbone after a tooth is pulled. Researchers mixed a patient's own ground-up tooth with a natural glue made from their blood, and compared it to using the ground tooth alone. The goal was to see which method better kept the bone width and height, helping prepare the jaw for future dental implants. The study involved 20 healthy adults with damaged teeth that could not be saved.
