Summary
This trial tests whether a graft made from your own extracted tooth (demineralized dentin) can preserve the jawbone's width and density as well as a standard bone graft material (xenograft) after a tooth is removed. Forty adults needing a premolar extraction will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two materials. Researchers will measure changes in bone width, volume, density, and gum tissue over time to see which approach better maintains the socket for future dental work.
