Does your income predict your recovery from ICU?

NCT ID NCT06697236

Summary

This study aims to understand how a person's socioeconomic status—like income, education, and social support—affects their recovery after a serious stay in the intensive care unit (ICU). Researchers will follow 180 patients and their family members in France to see if social and economic factors influence the development of Post-Intensive Care Syndrome, which includes physical, mental, and cognitive problems. The goal is to gather knowledge to help improve future support systems for ICU survivors.
