Summary
This study looks at whether having a social worker in the fracture clinic can help people who had a serious broken bone that needed surgery. About 2,000 adults will either get usual care or extra support from a social worker for up to a year. The goal is to see if this support reduces trips to the emergency room and improves mental health, financial stability, and overall recovery.
