First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tested whether a web-based social support program is practical and helpful for people who drink heavily and want to cut down or quit. Thirty adults in Connecticut used the program for 28 days. The goal was to see if people would use it and find it acceptable, not to measure long-term drinking changes.
