First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested a computer program designed to train attention away from threatening faces in 206 children aged 10-14 with social anxiety. Half received the attention training, the other half a neutral computer task. The goal was to see if the training reduced anxiety and changed brain activity measured by EEG. The study aimed to find a new, non-medication way to help youth with social anxiety.
