Summary
This study tested a new oral medicine called EMP-01 to see if it is safe and might help reduce symptoms in adults with social anxiety disorder. About 70 participants received either the study drug or a placebo (a pill with no medicine) twice over several weeks. The main goal was to check for side effects, while also exploring if the drug could improve anxiety symptoms compared to the placebo.
