New hope for head and neck cancer: shorter, precise radiation may beat standard treatment

Summary
This study tests two types of radiation for people whose head and neck cancer has returned after prior radiation. One method delivers high-dose radiation in fewer sessions, while the other uses standard daily doses. The goal is to see which approach better controls the tumor and causes fewer serious side effects. About 68 adults with small, inoperable tumors will take part.
