NCT ID NCT03326492

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study looked at how safe and effective a specific snake bite antivenom (Inoserp Pan-Africa) is when used in real hospitals in Cameroon. Researchers watched 474 patients over age 5 for side effects within 2 hours and checked if the antivenom stopped the venom's effects up to 48 hours later. The goal was to gather real-world data, not to test a new cure.
